Fly Rugs

A Fly Rug is a must have for your horses wardrobe in the summer.  Fly Rugs and Sweet Itch Rugs are specifically designed to help protect your horse from biting insects such as horse flys and midges and strong summer sun rays.  Normally coming with a neck cover,  fly rugs come in a range of styles.   One thing to consider when buying your Horses Fly Rugs is the denier of the material,  the higher the denier the strong the rug making it less likely to keep ripping if it is caught on something.  The cheaper the rug the lower the denier.

Styles of rugs include Miniature Pony Fly Rugs through to Sweet Itch Rugs,   We also have a range of Zebra Rugs where the black and white pattern helps to detract flys.  Another popular style of fly rugs is a combination rug which offers waterproofing along the top of your horse, perfect for those in between days with rain and sunshine.   Some rugs have integrated ear covers or come with fly hoods.  However, if hoods are not included then we carry a range of fly hoods.
